One Month Left in Paradise

As of Yesterday, I officially have one month left in Costa Rica. November has defiantly been my homesick month. But, overall, I’m so happy that I’ve been able to have this opportunity. I have some of the most interesting classes I’ve ever taken, the best mamatica in the world, and, the amazing friends who I will never forget. We have all grown so much. I’m interested to see how being in the States will be. I will miss living in the city surrounded by mountains, the bars and gates on the houses, the pot holes in the road, mom’s gallo pinto, hearing Spanish wherever I go (even tho I can’t understand the majority of it), and even the cat calls. I want to continue studying Spanish, as a hobby, because one day I hope to have my deep conversations with my Housemom without using Google Translate. It took some time getting used to, but this country is truly beautiful. And I’m so grateful to all the people who helped me get here. Psalm 9:1-2
